The stone carved walls produced by Haobo Stone are beautifully carved with numerous motifs and are produced in relief.
Relief City Of Cathay
Relief City Of Cathay meticulously depicts the background of prosperous social life in Bianjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, during the Qingming Festival, centred on the Bianhe River.
The prosperous and detailed streets, flora ,fauna, and buildings are all carved to life in the Relief City Of Cathay . The figures are realistic, naturalistic and lifelike, as if they are about to emerge from the stone.
The carver talks to the stone in the process of carving, and together they experience the wonders of nature and the philosophy of life.
The Haobo Stone depicts Venerable Hong Yi from the splendour of life to the more subdued after, highlighting the master's wise and introspective, refined demeanour. We can feel the soothing gaze of the Master from different angles, giving the heart peace and tranquillity.
As a decoration for Chinese gardens, stone carving are carved with a variety of thematic content and contain a rich cultural connotation and historical accumulation.
